It’s possible to understand the formation and development of Chinese environmental laws by comparison with those of Korea and‐Japan. In the earlier stage of legislation, Japan resulted in the enactment of environmental laws by undergoing various industrial pollution cases, on the other hand, Korea enacted environmental laws for the protection of environment in advance, and China was reluctant of enacting environmental laws. In the developing state of legislation, Japan and Korea enacted environmental laws for environmental conservation, and China enacted environmental laws for the protection of environment and nature. In the consummation of
legislation, the environmental law of China‐Korea‐Japan are having many things in common.
