- This paper is an investigation of the distribution of the aboriginal families and the reason why their ancestors have come to live in Kangweon Province.
The aboriginal families can be classified into two big categories : those who were originated from the province and those who had immigrated from other provinces.
For the immigrated families, the focus of the investigation was put upon the patterns of motives of the immigration into the Kangweon Province.
