- The purpose of this study was to investigate the concept and the necessity of learning strategy, to show several different learning strategies which elementary school students with mild disabilities should be able to perform, and to make examples for each learning strategies. Literature searching, developmental research, and inquiries from professionals in elementary education were performed in this study.There were 5 learning strategies discussed in this study including 'Active Processing', 'Analogy', 'Coping', 'Organization', and 'Rehearsal'. Validity and realization ability of this study results were verified by elementary teachers. Applying the learning strategies to classes is good not only for the students with mild disabilities but also for the general students. Therefore, it was suggested that the results of this study should be actively applied to elementary Practical Arts subject.

- 본 학회는 처음 실과 교과서에 참여한 인사를 중심으로 1989년 실과 교육 연구회로 발족하였다가 1990년에 전국 규모의 회원을 갖고 학회 활동을 본격적으로 시작하였다. 본 학회는 한국의 실과 교육의 학문적 연구 및 현장 교육의 문제를 개선하는데 기여할 목적으로 설립되었고, 현재는 전국의 관련대학의 교수와 현장 교사가 참여하여 실과의 학문적 기초를 마련하는데 기여하고 있고, 현장의 문제해결에도 기여하면서 발전하고 있다.
