This study systematically reviews quantitative empirical research on the relationship between venture investment and firm performance in Korea. Studies published from January 1, 2010 to March 31, 2026 were retrieved from KCI, DBpia, RISS, and KISS. Using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, PICOTS-SD criteria, and the Weight of Evidence (WoE) framework, 35 studies were selected for systematic review and evidence synthesis. The findings show that venture investment is generally positively associated with firm growth, innovation, and successful exits, but not consistently with profitability, suggesting a closer link to long-term growth than short-term profit generation. A four-dimensional framework of investor type, investment type, investment timing, and investment scale was used to synthesize these relationships. The mechanisms were further interpreted through information asymmetry theory, the resource-based view, agency theory, and signaling theory, providing theoretical and methodological directions for future research.

본 연구는 국내 모험자본 투자와 기업성과 간의 관계에 관한 정량적 실증연구를 체계적으로 종합·분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 국내 모험자본 투자와 기업성과 간의 관계를 다룬 개별 연구를 대상으로 체계적 문헌 고찰(systematic literature review)과 근거 통합(evidence synthesis)을 수행하였다. 분석 대상 문헌은 2010년 1월 1일부터 2026년 3월 31일까지 KCI, DBpia, RISS, KISS 등 국내 학술 데이터베이스에서 검색된 논문이다. 문헌 선정에는 PRISMA 2020 가이드라인, PICOTS-SD 기준, Weight of Evidence(WoE) 질적 평가 프레임워크를 결합한 3중 방법론 구조를 적용하여, 최종 35편을 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 모험자본 투자는 기업의 성장성, 혁신성, 성공회수(EXIT)와 전반적으로 긍정적인 관련성이 나타났으나, 수익성에서는 일관된 결과가 확인되지 않았다. 이는 모험자본이 단기 수익 창출보다 장기 성장 경로 형성과 더욱 밀접하게 관련되어 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 투자자 유형, 투자 유형, 투자 시기, 투자 규모의 4차원 분석 틀을 적용하여 독립변수와 종속변수 간 구조적 관계를 근거 기반으로 통합 분석하였다는 점에서 기존 연구와 차별성을 가진다. 또한 정보 비대칭 이론, 자원기반관점, 대리인 이론, 신호이론을 통해 모험자본 투자와 기업성과 간 관계의 작동 메커니즘을 해석함으로써 후속 연구의 이론적·방법론적 방향을 제시한다.
