This study explored the clinical practice experiences of nursing students amid healthcare disruptions caused by a medical strike and aimed to provide foundational data for maintaining the continuity of clinical education during healthcare crises. One-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted with nine fourth-year nursing students who had completed clinical practice at tertiary and general hospitals in one region during the 2024 healthcare disruption. Data were collected from July 6 to July 31, 2025, and analyzed using inductive content analysis. Five categories and 15 subcategories were identified: “reorganization of the clinical practice environment,” “gaps in medical care and reorganization of healthcare staff roles,” “Detection of instability in the nursing work environment,” “instability in career perceptions,” and “renewed understanding of the role of physician assistant nurses.” The findings suggest the need to establish a clinical practice system that protects nursing students’ learning rights and supports their emotional stability during healthcare disruptions.

본 연구는 의료파업으로 인한 의료공백 상황에서 간호대학생의 임상실습 경험을 탐색하여, 의료위기 상황에서 임상교육의 연속성을 유지하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 2024년 의료공백 기간에 일개 권역내 상급종합병원과 종합병원에서 임상실습을 경험한 간호학과 4학년 학생 9명을 대상으로 일대일 심층면담을 실시하였다. 자료는 2025년 7월 6일부터 7월 31일까지 수집하였고, 귀납적 내용분석법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, ‘임상실습 환경의 재편’, ‘진료 공백과 의료진 역할 재편’, ‘간호현장의 불안정성 감지’, ‘진로 인식의 동요’, ‘전담간호사 역할의 재인식’의 5개 범주와 15개 하위범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 의료공백 상황에서 간호대학생의 학습권과 정서적 안정을 고려한 실습 운영체계를 마련할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.
