This study conducted a systematic review to examine the effectiveness of applied behavior analysis-based interventions for reducing challenging behaviors in children with autism spectrum disorder.In accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, three databases—PubMed, PsycINFO, and Embase—were searched, and a total of 11 studies were included in the final analysis. The interventions analyzed were categorized into four types: functional communication training, response interruption and redirection, parent training, and combined interventions. The review found that ABA-based interventions showed an overall positive effect in reducing various challenging behaviors, including aggressive behavior, self-injurious behavior, and stereotypy. In particular, effects were repeatedly reported for functional communication training and response interruption and redirection. However, given that the majority of the included studies were small-scale single-case studies, the generalizability of the findings is limited.

본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 도전적 행동 감소를 위한 응용행동분석 기반 중재의 효과를 검토하기 위해 체계적 문헌고찰을 시행하였다. 연구는 PRISMA 2020 지침에 따라 PubMed, PsycINFO, Embase의 세개 데이터베이스를 검색하여 총 11편의 문헌을 최종 분석에 포함하였다. 분석된 중재는 기능적 의사소통훈련, 반응중단 및 재지시, 부모훈련, 결합 중재의 4개 유형으로 구조화되었다. 검토 결과 응용행동분석 기반 중재는 공격행동, 자해행동, 상동행동 등 다양한 도전적 행동의 감소에 전반적으로 긍정적인 효과를 보였다. 특히, 기능적 의사소통훈련과 반응중단 및 재지시에서 효과가 반복적으로 보고되었다. 다만 포함 문헌의 다수가 소규모 단일대상연구로 구성되어 있어 결과의 일반화에는 제한이 있다.
