This study examined the meaning of professionalism reconstruction experienced by knowledge workers in AI collaborative environments using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with eight professionals who actively used generative AI in their work. Analysis identified five themes: reconstructing role boundaries, reconsideration of human uniqueness, changes in decision-making, professional anxiety and adaptation, and the construction of new professionalism. Participants described AI collaboration as a process that reshaped their understanding of professional roles, judgment, and expertise. The findings indicate that human–AI collaboration involves not only technological change but also a reinterpretation of professionalism and professional identity among knowledge workers.

본 연구는 AI 협업 환경에서 지식노동자가 경험하는 전문성 재구성 과정을 탐색하기 위하여 생성형 AI를 실제 업무에 활용하고 있는 전문가들을 대상으로 해석현상학적 분석(IPA)을 수행하였다. 연구참여자는 다양한 분야의 전문가 8명으로 구성되었으며, 반구조화된 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 분석 결과 역할 경계의 재조정, 인간 고유성에 대한 재인식, 판단 과정의 변화 경험, 전문성 불안과 적응, 새로운 전문성 구성의 다섯 가지 주제가 도출되었다. 참여자들은 AI 협업 과정 속에서 자신의 판단 방식과 전문성의 의미가 변화하고 있다고 인식하고 있었으며, AI 활용 과정에서 효율성과 동시에 전문성 약화에 대한 긴장감을 함께 경험하고 있었다. 연구 결과는 인간–AI 협업이 단순한 기술 활용을 넘어 지식노동자의 역할과 전문성 이해 방식의 변화를 동반하는 경험임을 보여준다.

INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
