Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are widely used in various fields such as environmental monitoring, smart cities, and industrial automation. However, WSNs face security and energy efficiency challenges due to limited energy resources and low computational capability. In this study, a secure and energy-efficient communication scheme based on a zone-based clustering structure and RSA encryption is proposed. The proposed scheme optimizes data transmission paths while providing secure key exchange and data protection. MATLAB simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method improves network lifetime and energy efficiency while enhancing security compared to existing approaches.

무선 센서 네트워크(WSN)는 환경 모니터링, 스마트 시티, 산업 자동화 등 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있으나, 제한된 에너지와 낮은 연산 성능으로 인해 보안 및 에너지 효율 문제가 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 영역 기반(Zone-based) 클러스터 구조와 RSA 암호화를 적용한 보안 및 에너지 효율 통신 기법을 제안하였다. 제안 기법은 데이터 전송 경로를 최적화하고 안전한 키 교환 및 데이터 보호 기능을 제공한다. MATLAB 시뮬레이션 결과, 기존 방식보다 네트워크 수명과 에너지 효율이 향상되었으며 보안성 또한 강화됨을 확인하였다.

Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
