This study aims to elucidate and systematize the concept of “unification” within Unification Thought, address-ing its semantic ambiguity and conceptual multiplicity. As a central term in the Unification Church and its theological dis-course, “unification” functions both grammatically and conceptually as a prefix and object, embodying direction, purpose, and identity. This paper seeks to propose a constructive framework by analyzing unification through the operative mecha-nisms of integration, inclusion/transcendence (po-wol, 包越), and holistic unity (tongjeon, 統全), ultimately offering meth-odological strategies such as Jeong-Boon-Hap, Hwa-jaeng, and heartistic hermeneutics.
