The Fourfold Gospel of the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC) - regeneration, sanctification, divine healing, and the second coming - served as an 'evangelistic motto' for the evangelism and mission carried out by the early KEHC. However, in the KEHC, after passing the centennial of its mission, efforts to recover denominational identity were actively pursued, and as part of this theological work, the theologization of the Fourfold Gospel has been systematically carried out. Yet as this work of theologizing the Fourfold Gospel proceeded, certain aspects of the original role and function of the Fourfold Gospel as an evangelistic motto were weakened. Accordingly, in this era when the wave of revival in the Korean church and the KEHC is weakening, the need has emerged to reactivate, in a way appropriate to the times, the role and function of the Fourfold Gospel as an evangelistic motto and to make it a driving force for church revival. For this purpose, it is considered a highly meaningful task to explore pastorally and theologically the preaching content and pastoral ministry concerning regeneration and sanctification in the Fourfold Gospel of Pastor Lee Ki-yong of Shingil Evangelical Holiness Church, who is powerfully carrying out Fourfold Gospel preaching ministry and pastoral ministry. Pastor Lee Ki-yong's understanding of regeneration and sanctification in the Fourfold Gospel is very faithful to the content defined in the Constitution of the KEHC. Notably, Pastor Lee Ki-yong reinterprets doctrinal expressions from a ministry-field-oriented and ministry-friendly perspective and proclaims them from the pulpit. Pastor Lee Ki-yong views regeneration from the perspective of transformation, understands it as transformation into a new creation, and then declares that this transformation comes only through Jesus Christ. When proclaiming regeneration in the Fourfold Gospel in the field of ministry, Pastor Lee Ki-yong emphasizes the spiritual reality of being transformed from slaves of sin into children of God. He defines this life as discipleship. Meanwhile, Pastor Lee Ki-yong interprets the gospel of sanctification in the Fourfold Gospel in a holistic and transformative dimension. In this holistic and transformative dimension, he understands sanctification in the Fourfold Gospel as meaning the complete restoration of the image of God. When practically proclaiming sanctification in the Fourfold Gospel in the field of ministry, he emphasizes the transformative dimension of breaking through suffering by the power of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, beyond an individual's inner sanctification, he emphasizes social holiness as the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Lee Ki-yong reinterprets the doctrinal understanding of regeneration and sanctification in the Fourfold Gospel into congregation-friendly concepts within the context of the pastoral field, proclaims them from the pulpit, and makes them a new driving force for revival. This pastoral-practical interpretation and proclamation of Pastor Lee Ki-yong concerning the Fourfold Gospel can be evaluated as a meaningful attempt that makes us reflect on the original meaning possessed by the Fourfold Gospel as an evangelistic motto.
