This study critically analyzes the impacts and transformations brought about by the rapid advancement of generative AI on the contemporary pastoral field and church ministry ecosystem, while presenting a corresponding theological framework and practical pastoral guidelines. Recently, generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT and Gemini have garnered significant attention as practical alternatives for contemporary pastors by maximizing efficiency in sermon drafting and pastoral administration; however, behind this technological convenience lies a serious sense of crisis regarding the potential distortion of the pastor's spiritual authority, identity, and the very core values of ministry. By reinterpreting the allegory of the "Tree of Life" and the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil" in the Genesis narrative, the study points out that primordial human pride—driven by the desire to challenge the divine realm—closely aligns with contemporary transhumanist discourses that deify AI and promote digital idolatry. Relying entirely on human-derived technological knowledge signifies a rupture with God's sovereignty that can ultimately lead to the catastrophic outcome of spiritual stagnation; therefore, as the ultimate designers and stewards of technology, humans bear a moral obligation to infuse Christian values and humanistic warmth behind the veil of technological advancement. While artificial intelligence possesses outstanding instrumental utility in data computation and structuring, it remains incapable of overcoming the fatal limitations inherent in Large Language Models (LLMs), such as hallucination, stochastic parroting, plagiarism, and security vulnerabilities. Above all, the theonomical interrelationship existing behind the biblical text, the existential agony of a pastor seeking the illumination of the Holy Spirit, and the pastoral empathy and solidarity shared with the suffering of the congregation are uniquely human domains that mechanical algorithms can never replace. In conclusion, based on the case of the Kenyan church which preemptively established AI guidelines, this study emphasizes the necessity of a Christian value-centered regulatory framework and continuous AI literacy education, while proposing a concrete preaching methodology rooted in "epistemic diligence" and "critical evaluation" to help pastors autonomously and limitedly govern generative AI amid pastoral crises such as bi-vocational ministry or overwhelming administrative burdens.
