The purpose of this study is to examine SMSMR-based instructional strategies for natural singing. To achieve this objective, the researcher interpreted the concept of "natural singing," which is repeatedly used in elementary singing education, from a developmental perspective and proposed the 8 stages of SMSMR, which structure this concept into a stepwise flow of bodily sensation and muscle coordination. The researcher viewed singing not merely as a resulting state, but as a developmental integration process that begins with bodily sensation development and progresses through muscle coordination, breathing, vocalization, resonance, and expression. In other words, through a developmental flow leading from prone, crawling, proprioception, elastography, core integration, resonance control, to expression, the study examined that singing ability is not an innate talent but a gradual organizational process of body-based coordination capabilities. From this perspective, this study establishes singing as a structural concept based on developmental stages and presents a theoretical foundation for understanding it by extending it to a process of bodily-sensory-motor integration.

이 연구의 목적은 자연스러운 가창을 위한 SMSMR 기반 지도 방안의 고찰이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해, 연구자는 가창 교육에서 사용되는 ‘자연스러운 가창’ 개념을 발달적 관점에서 해석하고, 이를 신체 감각과 근육 협응의 단계적 흐름으로 구조화한 ‘감각 운동 노래 근육 발달 흐름’, 즉 SMSMR의 8단계를 제안한다. 연구자는 가창을 단순한 결과 상태가 아니라, 신체 감각발달에서 시작하여 근육 협응, 호흡, 발성, 공명, 표현으로 이어지는 발달적 통합 과정으로 본다. 즉 엎드리기, 기기, 고유수용감각, 내수용감각, 코어 통합, 공명 조절, 표현 단계로 이어지는 발달흐름을 통해, 가창 기능이 선천적 재능이 아니라 신체 기반 협응 능력의 점진적 조직 과정임을 고찰한다. 이러한 관점에서 이 연구는 가창을 발달 단계에 기반한 구조적 개념으로 정립하고, 이를 신체 감각 운동 통합 과정으로 초등 가창 지도 방안을 정립하여 이론적 기초로 제시한다.
