As drone technology continues to advance, it is making leaps and bounds. Accordingly, we aim to explore the potential applications of drones in the security and police sectors, which require real-time, on-site judgment, and connect this to the potential applications of defense drones. The focus is on identifying problems and development directions in the operation of domestic police drones through analysis of domestic and international police drone operation cases and exploring development directions accordingly. We identify the limits of the operational scope and examine the limitations of the operational organization, operational system, operational qualifications, and training courses. It is believed that the legal control of the operational scope and standard areas of operating equipment for defense drones should be given weight and focus.

드론 기술이 지속적으로 발전함에 따라 비약적인 성과를 이루고 있으며, 이에 따라서 실시간 현장 판단이 요구되는 치안 및 경찰 분야에서 드론의 활용 가능성을 추적하여 이를 국방 드론에 연관짓고자 한다. 국내외 경찰 드론의 운용 사례에 대한 분석을 통해 국내 경찰 드론 운용 간 문제점 및 발전방향을 도출하고 이에 대한 발전방향을 모색함을 중점으로 한다. 운용 범위의 한계를 도출하고, 운용 조직과 운용 체계의 한계, 운용 자격 및 교육 과정의 한계를 살펴본다. 국방 드론에 있어서 운용법위와 운용하는 장비의 표준 분야에 대해서 법적인 통제에 무게와 중심을 가지고 나아가야 할 것으로 여겨진다
