In this study, to measure the performance of medical ultrasound equipment, the measurement method and standard of the multi-purpose ultrasound phantom (ATS - 539) introduced in the National Cancer Center 'National Cancer Screening Quality Improvement Education' was used to investigate the actual condition of the performance of ultrasound equipment at medical institutions in Gwangju. we tried to present basic data that can be used as a reference for the performance test of ultrasonic equipment using ultrasonic phantom. From March to August 2021, 4 companies and 19 units of 10 types of medical ultrasound equipment in Gwangju were measured and evaluated. As a result, the dead zone, vertical distance accuracy measurement, horizontal distance accuracy measurement, axis All 19 units passed 100% in the Axial/Lateral resolution, grayscale and dynamic range items. As a result of analyzing the ultrasonic phantom acceptance rate according to the years of use of ultrasonic equipment in Gwangju, it was meaningful to derive that the age of ultrasonic equipment was related to equipment performance. The need for quality control of ultrasonic equipment is emerging, and it is considered that continuous quality control education for ultrasonic equipment is necessary for inspectors to reduce the difference in quality between sonographer.

본 연구는 의료용 초음파장비 성능측정을 위해 국립암센터 ‘국가암검진 질 향상 교육’에서 소개된 다목적 초음파 팬텀(ATS- 539)의 측정방법과 기준으로 광주지역 의료기관의 초음파장비 성능이 어떤지 실태를 알아보고, 초음파 팬텀 을 이용한 초음파장비 성능검사에 참고가 될 수 있는 기본 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 2021년 3월~8월까지 광주지역 의료용 초음파장비 4개사, 10종류 19대를 대상으로 측정해 평가한 결과 합격 기준이 제시된 6개 항목에서 불응 영역, 수직거리 정확성 측정, 수평거리 정확성 측정, 축/측 방향 해상도, 회색조와 동적 범위 항목에서 19대 모두 100% 합격이 었다. 광주지역 초음파장비 사용 연수에 따른 초음파 팬텀 합격률을 분석한 결과 초음파장비사용 연한이 장비 성능과 관계가 있음을 도출한 것에 대해 의의가 있었다. 초음파장비의 정도 관리의 필요성이 대두되고 검사자에 따른 검사의 질 차이를 줄이기 위한 검사자의 지속적인 초음파장비의 정도 관리 교육이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
