- This study analyzed the direct and indirect effects of social support (parents, friends, teachers) on the self-esteem, school satisfaction, and career preparation competency of multicultural youth using data from the 5th year of the 2nd phase of the Multicultural Adolescent Panel Study in 2023. The results of a structural equation modeling analysis of data from 1,842 multicultural adolescents revealed that parental support had the greatest impact on self-esteem at the p<.001 level, with parents (.386), friends (.303), and teachers (.145), in that order. The results also revealed that teachers had the greatest impact on school satisfaction at the p<.001 level, with teachers (.385), friends (.311), and parents (.156). Path analysis of the relationship between social support, mediating variables (self-esteem, school life satisfaction), and career preparation competency revealed statistically significant indirect effects. Parental support, through its mediating role, exerted a greater influence on career preparation competency than other antecedent variables. The results suggest practical and policy implications for multicultural youth

- 본 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원의 2023년 다문화 청소년패널(MAPS) 2기 5차년도 자료를 활용하여 사회적 지지(부모, 친구, 교사)가 다문화 청소년의 자아존중감, 학교생활만족, 진로준비역량에 미치는 직접 및 간접영향을 분 석하였다. 다문화 청소년 1,842명의 자료를 구조방정모형으로 분석한 결과, 사회적 지지는 다문화 청소년의 자아존중 감에 p<.001 수준에서 부모(.386), 친구(.303), 교사지지(.145) 순으로 부모지지의 영향이 상대적으로 큰 것으로 확인 되었다. 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향은 p<.001수준에서 교사(.385), 친구(.311), 부모지지(.156)의 순으로 교사의 영 향이 상대적으로 큰 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지-자아존중감, 학교생활만족도-진로준비역량의 경로분석 결과, 모든 경로에서의 간접효과는 통계적으로 유의미하였으며 부모의 지지가 매개변수를 통해 진로준비역량에 미치는 영향이 다른 선행변수의 영향에 비해 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 연구결과 다문화 청소년의 진로지도를 위한 함의를 제시하였다.

Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
