The purpose of this study explores the roles and activities of Wellageing teaching aids trainers in Korea. Surveying 137 certified or trained individuals, it examines their demographics, motivations, field experiences, and role perceptions. Most were women in their 50’s with social welfare-related qualifications. Activities mainly occurred in elderly welfare centers and dementia care facilities. Key motivations included adapting to a super-aged society and pursuing new career paths. Statistical analysis indicated that certification status (t=4.751, p<.001) and field experience (t=-3.359, p<.001) were the most significant factors influencing role recognition, with results showing strong statistical significance (F=23.582, p<.001). These findings underscore the importance of strengthening the professional capacity of trainers and highlight the need for institutional support to ensure their effective contribution in an aging society.

본 연구의 목적은 초고령 사회에 대응하는 노인교구 지도사의 역할과 활동 실태를 파악하는 것이다. 조사대 상자는 자격증을 소지한 노인교구 지도사 80명과 과정을 수료한 예비 노인교구 지도사 57명, 총 137명을 대상으로 분 석하였다. 주요 조사결과로 노인교구 지도사는 50대 여성·전문대 이상 학력자와 사회복지사 및 요양보호사 자격증을 보유한 경우가 많았다. 주요 활동처는 경로당, 노인 가정, 복지관, 치매안심센터였다. 활동 동기는 새로운 직종에 대한 도전의 이유가 가장 많았다. 활동을 통해 노인에 대한 이해와 기대감이 증진되었고, 전문성 강화를 위한 역량 강화 교육영역으로 대화법, 문제행동 대처법, 노인의 이해 순으로 높게 나타났다. 노인교구 지도사 역할 인식에 가장 큰 영 향을 준 변인은 자격증 유무(t=4.751. p<.001)와 현장경험 유무(t=-3.359, p<.001)였으며 통계적으로도 유의하였다 (F=23.582, P<.001). 또한 앞으로 노인교구 지도사의 전문성 강화와 제도적 지원의 필요성을 제언으로 시사하였다.

INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
