In the 21st-century corporate environment, as the importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management and compliance increases, the capacity for effective in-house misconduct investigation has become an essential element for corporate continuity and sustainable growth. The necessity for companies' in-house investigation capabilities is now more critical than ever, driven by recent factors such as the Fair Trade Commission's increased scrutiny of large business groups' internal transactions, the expansion of public institution audits by the Board of Audit and Inspection, and various in-house sexual harassment and power abuse cases. This study aims to analyze the current status of in-house misconduct investigation education and propose measures for establishing an effective training system. To this end, the study identified problems in existing training programs through a literature review and corporate case studies. The findings indicate that current in-house misconduct investigation training in Korean companies primarily focuses on meeting legal requirements, resulting in a shortage of practical investigation techniques and systematic curricula. Although practical training methods, such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), are necessary—as previous studies suggest—to enhance the professionalism of internal audit organizations, most companies still rely on theory-centered education. Accordingly, this study proposed the following elements for an effective in-house misconduct investigation training system: ① Principles for designing the in-house misconduct investigation training curriculum, ② Design of the training content and methodology for in-house misconduct investigations, ③ Establishment of the operating and evaluation system for the in-house misconduct investigation training. This research holds academic significance as a systematic study on in-house misconduct investigation training, and it offers practical value by presenting guidelines for strengthening corporate compliance capabilities.

21세기 기업 환경에서 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영과 컴플라이언스의 중요성이 증가함에 따라, 사내 비위행위에 대한 효과적인 조사 역량은 기업의 연속성 및 지속 가능한 성장을 위한 필수 요소로 변화하고 있다. 최근 공정거래위원회의 대기업 집단 내부거래 조사 강화와 감사원 의 공공기관 감사 확대, 각종 사내 성희롱·갑질 사건 등으로 인해 기업의 자체적인 비위조사 능 력의 필요성이 어느 때보다 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구는 사내 비위조사 교육의 현황을 분석하고, 효과적인 교육 체계에 대한 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 국내외 선행연구 분 석, 기업 사례 조사 등을 통해 현행 교육프로그램의 문제점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 현재 국내 기업들의 사내 비위조사 교육은 법적 요구사항 충족에 치중되어 있어 실무적 조사기법과 체계적 인 교육과정이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 선행연구에서 지적했듯이 기업 내부감사 조직의 전문성 제고를 위해서는 문제 기반 학습(PBL) 방식의 실무형 교육이 필요하나, 대부분 기업에서는 여전 히 이론 중심의 교육에 머물러 있는 현실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 효과적인 사내 비위조사 교육 체계로서 ① 사내 비위조사 교육과정 설계 원칙, ② 사내 비위조사 교육내용 및 방법론 설계, ③ 사내 비위조사 교육 운영 및 평가 시스템 구축을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 사내 비위조사 교육에 관한 체계적인 연구로서 학술적 의의가 있으며, 기업의 컴플라이언스 역량 강화를 위한 실무적 가이드라인을 제시한다는 점에서 실용적 가치를 지닌다.
