The Moderating Role of Intrinsic Motivation in the Relationship between Resilience and Start-up Intention among Potential Female Entrepreneurs : Evidence from Female University Students in Korea
예비 여성창업자의 회복탄력성과 창업 의지와의 관계에서 내재적 동기의 조절 역할 : 한국 여성 대학생을 중심으로
The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating role of intrinsic motivation in the relationship between resilience and start-up intention among potential female entrepreneurs. Data were collected from 200 female undergraduate students across three universities in Korea. Using hierarchical regression analysis, the study tested the hypothesized relationships. The results show that resilience has a significant positive effect on start-up intention. Furthermore, intrinsic motivation has a significant moderating effect on the resilience and start-up intention relationship. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the psychological mechanisms driving women’s entrepreneurial intention and emphasize the importance of fostering resilience and intrinsic motivation in entrepreneurship education. The study provides theoretical insights into women’s entrepreneurial behavior and practical implications for developing programs that encourage female students to pursue entrepreneurship.
