The purpose of this study is to explore practical support measures to strengthen their capabilities by deeply analyzing the perceptions and educational needs of lifelong education teachers, who are the core subjects of the lifelong education field. As a research method, a survey of 210 lifelong education teachers nationwide and in-depth interviews with 5 people were conducted at the same time, and the collected data were comprehensively analyzed through IPA and Borich demand analysis. As a result of the study, the majority (89.5%) positively recognized and used Generative AI, but the use remained at the basic level such as idea planning. The younger the age, the more diverse the use was, the most urgent demand was ‘education and training’, and the biggest concern was ‘information accuracy’. In addition, lifelong education teachers were aware that their roles should change from knowledge transfer to ‘learning experience designers’ and ‘AI ethics guides’. Based on the results of this analysis, this study proposes the development and systematic policy support of ‘two-track customized capacity building programs’ by age including AI ethics and literacy education.

본 연구는 평생교육 현장의 핵심 주체인 평생교육사를 대상으로 생성형 AI 활용에 대한 인식과 교육 요 구를 심층적으로 분석하여, 이들의 역량 강화를 위한 실질적인 지원 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로는 전국 평생교육사 210명 대상 설문조사와 5명 대상 심층 인터뷰를 병행하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 IPA 및 Borich 요구도 분석 등을 통해 종합적으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 대다수(89.5%)가 생성형 AI를 긍정적으로 인식하고 사용하고 있으나, 활용은 아이디어 구상 등 기초 수준에 머물렀다. 연령이 낮을수록 활용이 다각적이었 으며, 가장 시급한 요구는 ‘교육 및 연수’, 최대 우려는 ‘정보의 정확성’ 문제로 나타났다. 또한, 평생교육사들은 자 신의 역할이 지식 전달자에서 ‘학습 경험 설계자’ 및 ‘AI 윤리 가이드’로 변화해야 함을 인지하고 있었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 AI 윤리 및 리터러시 교육을 포함한 연령별 ‘투-트랙(Two-track) 맞춤형 역량 강화 프로그램’의 개발과 체계적인 정책 지원을 제언한다.

Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
