This descriptive study examined the mediating effect of self-leadership on the relationship between grit and caring efficacy in nursing students. The study participants were 188 nursing students enrolled in a university in Province C. Data were collected from May 27 to June 16, 2025, using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0, using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. The validity of the mediating effect was tested using the Sobel test. First, grit was positively correlated with both caring efficacy and self-leadership, and caring efficacy was positively correlated with self-leadership. Second, self-leadership fully mediated the relationship between grit and caring efficacy, explaining 13.6% of the variance. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a systematic program that includes grit and self-leadership to improve nursing students' care efficacy.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 그릿과 돌봄효능감의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이 다. 연구대상자는 C도에 소재한 4년제 대학의 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호대학생 188명이며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2025년 5월 27일에서 6월 16일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, multiple regression을 실시하였으며, 매개효과의 유효성 은 Sobel test를 이용하여 검증하였다. 첫째, 대상자의 그릿은 돌봄효능감과 셀프리더십과 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 돌봄효 능감은 셀프리더십과 양의 상관관계로 확인되었다. 둘째, 셀프리더십은 그릿과 돌봄효능감과의 관계에서 완전매개 효과가 있 는 것으로 확인되었으며, 설명력은 13.6%이었다. 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 간호대학생의 돌봄효능감을 향상시키기 위해서 는 그릿과 셀프리더십을 포함한 체계적인 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.
