The advancement of artificial intelligence is reshaping future careers, increasing the demand for digital, data, and AI-related professions. In this study, an elementary school career camp program using Generative AI was developed and operated once a week for a total of 20 sessions for 5 weeks, and the effect was analyzed. Students used AI tools such as Suno, Tooning, Vrew, Canva to represent their career exploration through song lyrics, webtoons, videos, and posters. Program effectiveness was evaluated via pre- and post-tests of career decision-making self-efficacy and attitudes toward AI, alongside observation journals recorded by preservice teachers. Results showed significant improvements in students’ career decision-making self-efficacy and positive shifts in AI attitudes. These findings indicate that generative AI-based career camp programs can effectively support elementary students’ career education.

인공지능 기술의 발전은 미래 직업 변화에 큰 영향을 미치고 있으며, 디지털·데이터·인공지능 관련 직업의 필요성은 더 욱 증가할 것으로 예측된다. 본 연구에서는 생성형 AI를 활용한 초등학교 진로 캠프 프로그램을 개발하여 주 1회, 5주간 총 20차시로 운영하고 그 효과를 분석하였다. 참여 학생들은 투닝, 브루, 캔바 등 다양한 생성형 AI 도구를 활용해 진로 탐색 과정을 노래 가사, 웹툰, 영상, 포스터 등의 형태로 표현하며 활동하였다. 효과 검증을 위해 학습자의 사전·사후 진로 결정자기효능감 검사, 인공지능 태도 검사, 그리고 예비 교사가 기록한 관찰일지를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 학생들의 진로결 정자기효능감이 유의하게 향상되었으며 인공지능에 대한 태도 또한 긍정적으로 변화하였다. 이러한 결과는 생성형 AI를 활용한 진로 캠프 프로그램이 초등학생의 진로교육에 효과적으로 기여할 수 있음을 보여준다.
