Objective: This study aimed to identify research trends in role performance among community members using bibliometric analysis. Methods: Data were collected from the Web of Science database and included 553 studies published up to December 16, 2024. VOSviewer was used to visualize key trends such as publication volume, contributing countries, research fields, and keyword patterns. Results: The number of publications has steadily increased since 2009, with notable growth after 2020. The predominant research areas included rehabilitation (n = 298), environmental and occupational health (n = 56), and health sciences (n = 34). The United States was the leading contributor. Early research emphasized disease-related terms, whereas recent studies have shifted toward occupational balance, community participation, and social inclusion. Conclusion: This analysis highlights the evolving focus of occupational therapy research on community-based role performance. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, growing attention has been paid to mental health and the role of community engagement in supporting well-being. These findings underscore the importance of developing tailored, interdisciplinary interventions that address the needs of local communities.

목적 : 본 연구는 지역사회 구성원의 역할수행에 대한 문헌들을 계량서지학적 분석을 통해 연구 동향을 파악하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 국외 데이터베이스(Web of Science)를 활용하여 지역사회 구성원의 역할수행 작업치료 연구의 동향을 파악하였다. 2024년 12월 16일까지 출판된 문헌 중 최종 선정된 문헌은 553편이었다. Vos viewer를 사용하여 결과를 시각화 하였으며, 계량서지학적 분석을 통해 국가, 연구분야, 키워드 등을 파악하였다. 결과 : 1996년부터 2024년까지 총 553편의 문헌이 분석되었으며, 연구 출판 수는 2009년 이후 점진적으로 증가하여 2020년 이후 지속적인 상승세를 보였다. 주요 연구 분야는 재활(298편), 공공환경 및 직업건강(56편), 보건과학(34편)으로 나타났다. 국가별 분석에서는 미국이 가장 높은 기여도를 보였으며, 키워드 동시출현 분석 결과, 2018년 이전에는 질병 중심 키워드가 주로 나타났으나, 2020년 이후 작업균형, 지역사회 참여, 사회적 포용 등으로 주제가 확장되는 경향을 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구는 계량서지학적 분석을 통해 지역사회 구성원의 역할수행과 작업치료에 대한 연구 동향을 파악하였 다. 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 정신건강과 지역사회 참여의 중요성이 부각되었으며, 이를 기반으로 지역사회 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 중재 프로그램의 필요성이 제시되었다. 향후 다양한 데이터베이스와 다학문적 접근을 통해 근거 기반의 연구가 요구된다.
