A compact implantable antenna system has been developed for wireless capsule endoscopy, featuring both SISO and MIMO configurations. The antennas are designed using water as the substrate. Owing to the high permittivity of water, the design achieves miniaturization and improved impedance matching with biological tissue. Operating at 1.47 GHz and 2.45 GHz with simulated bandwidths of 100 MHz and 250 MHz, respectively, the antenna demonstrates effective performance validated through both simulations and experimental measurements for biomedical telemetry applications.
