- This study aims to develop a competency model for creative convergent talent required in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. As the boundaries between physical and virtual realities become increasingly blurred, significant societal transformation is anticipated. Although prior research has suggested a variety of core competencies, a shared understanding across industries remains insufficient. To address this gap, the study employed a mixed-methods approach involving literature review, job description analysis, focus group interviews, and in-depth interviews. Based on Dubois’ generic model overlay methodology, key competencies and behavioral indicators were systematically identified and structured. The findings revealed seven core competencies and seventeen behavioral indicators essential for creative and convergent talent. These results offer theoretical and practical implications for the development of educational policies and human resource development strategies aligned with the future demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

- 본 연구의 목적은 4차 산업혁명 시대에 요구되는 창의적 융합인재의 역량모델을 개발하는 데 있다. 현실 과 가상의 경계가 모호해지고 사회 전반에 걸쳐 급격한 변화가 예고되는 시점에서, 기존 연구들은 다양한 핵심역 량을 제시하고 있으나 산업계 전반에 걸친 공통된 합의는 여전히 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 문헌 연구, 직 무기술서 분석, 전문가 포커스 그룹 인터뷰, 면접조사를 통해 핵심역량을 도출하고, Dubois의 일반 모델 덧씌우기 방법을 기초로 창의적 융합인재를 위한 미래 핵심역량을 규명하였다. 연구 결과, 총 7개의 핵심역량과 17개의 세 부 행동 지표가 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 4차 산업혁명 시대가 요구하는 창의적 융합인재 양성을 위한 교육 정책 수립 및 인적자원 개발 전략 수립에 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

- Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
