This study evaluated the efficiency of offensive and defensive performances of 12 teams in the 2024 K League 1 season using official match records and tactical data from the Technical Study Group (TSG) report. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), including CCR, BCC, and Scale Efficiency (SE) models, was applied, with quantitative match indicators such as shots, expected goals (xG), expected goals on target conceded (xGOT Conceded), and passes per defensive action (PPDA) used as input and output variables. The results revealed varying levels of efficiency across teams; some demonstrated efficient resource utilization despite lower goal totals, while others were inefficient despite strong tactical metrics. For instance, Suwon FC ranked highly in league standings despite low efficiency scores, implying the influence of non-quantitative factors such as finishing ability and tactical focus. Jeonbuk Hyundai exhibited strong performance indicators but suffered from scale inefficiency, suggesting structural issues in resource allocation. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and K-means clustering further classified team tactics into three types—attack-oriented, defense-focused, and balanced—and provided a multidimensional interpretation of the relationship between tactical performance and league outcomes. This study presents an integrated approach to evaluating tactical efficiency using DEA and multivariate statistical methods, offering practical insights for strategic planning and resource distribution in professional football.

본 연구는 2024년 K리그1 12개 팀을 대상으로, 공식 경기 기록과 TSG 리포트 기반 전술 데이터를 활용 하여 공격 및 수비 퍼포먼스의 효율성을 평가하였다. CCR, BCC, 규모효율성(SE) 모형을 포함한 자료포락분석 (DEA)을 적용하고, 슈팅, xG, xGOT 허용, PPDA 등 정량 지표를 투입·산출 변수로 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 팀별 효율성 수준은 상이했으며, 일부 팀은 낮은 득점에도 효율적인 자원 운용을, 다른 팀은 높은 전술 수치에도 비효 율성을 보였다. 수원FC는 낮은 효율성에도 불구하고 상위 순위를 기록해 비정량적 요인의 영향을 시사하였고, 전 북은 전술 퍼포먼스는 우수하나 규모 비효율성이 드러났다. 또한 PCA와 K-means 분석을 통해 팀 전술을 공격 주도형, 수비 중심형, 균형형으로 유형화하고, 전술 특성과 성과의 관계를 해석하였다. 본 연구는 DEA와 다변량 분석을 결합하여 팀 전술의 효율성을 통합적으로 평가한 시도로서, 전략 수립 및 자원 배분의 실무적 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
