The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of perception of social economy on happiness and the mediating effect of social quality. To this end, a structural equation model analysis was conducted based on the survey data of 498 Seoul citizens. As a result of the study, first, perception of social economy had a positive (+) effect on social-economic security, social inclusion, social cohesion, and social empowerment. Second, among the sub-components of social quality, social cohesion and social empowerment had a positive (+) effect on individual happiness. Third, the mediating effects of social cohesion and social empowerment on the impact of the perception of social economy on happiness were significant. Based on this, it was suggested to develop a ‘good society’ through the social economy, activate social relationships and solidarity, and increase individual happiness through strengthening individual capabilities.

본 연구는 사회적경제에 대한 인식이 개인의 행복감에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 사회적 질의 매개효과를 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 서울시민 498명을 대상으로 한 설문조사 자료를 바탕으로 구조방정식모델 (SEM) 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 사회적경제 인식은 사회경제 안정성, 사회적 포용성, 사회적 응집성, 사회적 역량강화 모두에 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 사회적 질의 하위 구성요소 중 사회적 응집성, 사회적 역량 강화가 개인의 행복감에 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 사회적경제 인식이 행복감 향상에 미치는 직접효과는 유의 하지 않았으며, 사회적경제 인식이 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 응집성 및 사회적 역량강화의 간접효과는 유 의하였다. 이를 바탕으로, 사회적경제를 통한 ‘좋은 사회’로의 발전, 사회적 관계, 공동체 참여와 연대 활성화, 개인 의 역량강화를 통한 개인의 행복 증진을 제언하였다.

INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
