Assessing the Influence of Financial Innovation, Health Expenditure, Green Energy Transition, Institutional Quality, and Economic Growth on the Ecological Footprint : Evidence from E-7 Economies within a Carbon Accounting Framework
This study applies a carbon accounting framework to investigate the complex link between economic factors and environmental degradation in E-7 economies from 2000 to 2022. It examines how economic dynamics, including financial innovation, green energy transition, health expenditure, institutional quality, and economic growth, impact the ecological footprint. Advanced econometric methods, such as the CS-ARDL model, were applied to capture both short-term and long-term effects, with robustness checks using AMG and CCEMG techniques. Results show that economic growth and health expenditure worsen environmental degradation by increasing the ecological footprint, while financial innovation, green energy transition, and institutional quality mitigate it. The study highlights the moderating role of institutional quality in promoting sustainability and confirms that financial innovation can enhance environmental quality, particularly concerning health expenditure.

Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
