Based on the adult body size standards of China and Korea, We are designed, this study used Pathfinder simulation software to simulate the fire evacuation of college laboratory building. Through the establishment of a three-dimensional model of the experimental building, the typical human parameters of China and Korea were set up to simulate the evacuation process under different scenarios. The results show that the size difference between Chinese and Korean people has a significant impact on evacuation time and efficiency. Due to the high average height, the evacuation speed of Korean people in narrow passages is slightly lower than that of Chinese people. At the same time, this study puts forward improvement suggestions such as optimizing the width of evacuation passageway and adjusting the layout of safety exit, which provides a scientific basis for the safety design and emergency plan formulation of university experimental buildings. The research results are of great significance for improving the safety of transnational university buildings and promoting the cooperation between China and Korea in the field of building safety.
