With the emergence of DeepSeek, a reasoning-based AI model, reasoning is attracting attention as the next model in the AI market. DeepSeek is striving to differentiate itself by presenting a problem-solving process through ‘reasoning’ for the fundamental purpose of ‘pursuing completeness of answers.’ Through this study, we examine reasoning-based AI and confirms the possibility of utilizing the jewelry industry in terms of the link between reasoning and creative activities. As a consequence of the study, it was confirmed that DeepSeek provides a reasoning process while disclosing chains of thought to users. The answers generated provided 57% reasoning from a quantitative perspective, and the reasoning process took an average of 31.75 seconds. By disclosing the reasoning process necessary for solving the problem, we can check the step-by-step information of the AI answer, and this process can be a transfer learning for users and help creative thinking. Although there is a necessity of continuous qualitative and quantitative further research on the reasoning model, this study is significant to confirm the function of the current version of the inferred model and the possibility of combining them.

추론형 AI 모델인 DeepSeek의 등장으로 추론이 AI 시장에서 차세대 모델로 주목받고 있다. DeepSeek는 ‘답 변에 대한 완성도 추구’의 원론적 목적에 ‘추론’을 통한 문제해결의 과정을 제시하는 방식으로 차별화를 꾀하고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 추론형 AI를 살펴보고 추론과 창의적 활동의 연계성 측면에서 주얼리 산업의 활용 가능성을 확인해 본다. 연구 결과, DeepSeek는 사용자에게 사고의 전개를 공개하면서 추론 과정을 제공함을 확인하였다. 생성된 답변 은 정량적 관점에서 57%의 추론을 제공하였고, 추론 과정은 평균 31.75초가 소요되었다. 문제해결에 필요한 추론 과 정을 공개함으로써 AI 답변의 단계별 정보를 확인할 수 있고, 이러한 과정은 사용자에게 학습 전이가 되어 창의적인 사고를 도울 수 있다. 추론형 모델에 대한 지속적인 정성적, 정량적 추가 연구의 필요성은 있으나, 본 연구는 현 버전 의 추론형 모델의 기능과 이를 접목하는 가능성을 확인하는 데 의의가 있다.
