This study aims to explore the perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding current AI ethics education, identifying the operational status and factors influencing its implementation. To achieve this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 elementary school teachers who had experience teaching AI ethics lessons and were employed at schools located in the metropolitan area. The collected data were analyzed using the constant comparative analysis method, categorizing the content according to the research questions and presenting the results. The findings revealed that lessons centered on "practical case-based instruction" were conducted, particularly among teachers who highly valued the "necessity of ethics education." However, the overall level of interest and implementation was found to be lower compared to the utilization of AI technologies. Additionally, the operational outcomes were influenced by a combination of factors, including individual student characteristics, school-level organizational factors, teaching-learning-related factors, and institutional factors.. Based on the results of, implications and suggestions were discussed.

본 연구는 초등교사들을 대상으로 현재 인공지능 윤리교육에 대한 인식을 탐색하여, 인공지능 윤리교육의 운 영현황과 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 인공지능 윤리 수업 진행 경험이 있 는 수도권 소재 학교에 재직 중인 초등교사 8명에 대한 심층면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 연구자료는 반복적 비교분석 방법을 바탕으로 분석하여, 연구문제에 따라 내용을 범주화하여 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과, ‘윤리교육에 대한 필요 성’을 높게 생각하는 교사들을 중심으로 ‘실제 사례 중심’의 수업이 운영이 되고 있었지만, ‘인공지능 기술 활용’에 비 해 전반적인 관심과 실행수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 운영결과에 있어 학생 개인 특성, 학교 차원의 조직적 요인, 교수학습 관련 요인, 제도적 요인 등이 복합적으로 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 인공지 능 윤리교육 설계와 운영에 대한 시사점과 바람직한 운영을 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
