The use of AI to generate automated decisions is increasingly being used in school settings today. Because the internal logic of AI algorithms is typically opaque, the lack of explanation puts learners in a vulnerable position, raising concerns about the fairness, accountability, and transparency of educational interventions. We describe a method for explaining the reasons for decisions made by AI systems to increase trust in them. Through a review of the existing cases, we aim to help AI-based decision-making in education fully recognize the benefits of AI while mitigating the associated risks. The paper therefore analyses the relevant literature to clarify the meaning of the right to an explanation and describes how to protect the legitimate interests of individuals affected by automated decision-making.

오늘날 학교 교육 환경에 AI를 사용하여 자동화된 의사결정을 생성할 수 있는 권한이 점점 더 많이 사용되고 있다. AI 알고리즘의 내부 논리는 일반적으로 불투명하기 때문에 설명권이 없으면 교육적 개입의 공정성, 책임 성, 투명성 문제가 우려되면서 학습자가 약한 입장에 처하게 된다. 따라서 우리는 AI 시스템에 대한 신뢰를 높 이기 위해서 AI 시스템이 내린 결정에 대한 이유를 설명하는 방법을 기술한다. 본 연구는 기존의 사례 분석을 통해 교육에서 AI기반 의사결정에 AI의 이점을 완전히 인식하는 동시에 관련 위험을 완화하는 도움을 줄 수 있 도록 한다. 따라서 이 논문은 관련 문헌 분석을 통해 설명요구권에 대한 의미를 명확히 하고 자동화된 의사결정 의 영향을 받는 개인의 합법적 이익 보호를 위한 방법을 기술한다.
