This paper is about collecting, visually structuring, and analyzing user-specific operation logs in a Linux-based operating system to improve the transparency and security of server computer usage. The proposed log management method is different from the traditional log management system in that it visualizes log management as an image, enabling intuitive monitoring and control. In general, server systems such as the Linux operating system store the user􀁎s specific operation command history as a text log file, but because the amount is huge, it is difficult for the administrator to easily grasp the flow of the entire content and special situations. This paper proposes a control method similar to checking a black box by visualizing Linux log information so that the administrator can easily and intuitively check it, and through experiments based on CentOS, it confirmed the improvement of the log collection method, the log management method re􀂘uired for multiple user operations, and the image conversion method for visualizing such log history. The proposed log visualization method is expected to strengthen system security and contribute to preventing users􀁎 confidentiality leaks.

본 논문은 서버 컴퓨터 사용의 투명성과 보안을 향상시키기 위해 리눅스 기반 운영체제에서 사용자 별 작업 로그를 수집하고 시각적으로 구조화 및 분석하는 방안에 관한 것이다. 제안하는 로그 관리 방식은 전통 적인 로그 관리 체계와 다르게 로그 관리를 이미지 시각화하여 직관적 감시와 관제가 가능하다. 일반적으로 리룩스 운영체제와 같은 서버 시스템은 사용자의 구체적인 작업 명령 내역을 텍스트 로그 파일로 저장하지 만 그 양이 방대하기 때문에 관리자 입장에서는 전체 내용의 흐름과 특이 상황을 쉽게 파악하기 어려운 것 이 사실이다. 본 논문은 리눅스 로그 정보를 관리자가 관리자가 쉽게 직관적으로 확인할 수 있도록 시각화 하여 블랙박스를 확인하는 것과 유사한 관제 방법을 제안하였고 CentOS 를 기준으로 실험하여 로그 수집 방법의 개선, 다수 사용자 작업 시 필요한 로그 관리 방안, 그리고 이러한 로그 내역의 시각화를 위한 이미 지 변환 방식을 확인하였다. 제안하는 로그 시각화 방안은 시스􄎲 보안을 강화하고 사용자의 기밀 유출 행 위 방지에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
