As the vision of the 2020 curriculum, the Ministry of Education proposed "cultivating world-leading talent with the knowledge of an intelligent information society." In this era, the importance of convergence education that combines knowledge and information in various fields is recognized and the target of education is also decreasing day by day to expand SW education. Robots that enable specific manipulation activities for such convergence education are considered learning tools suitable for the developmental stage of middle school, that is, third and fourth graders, which are specific manipulators. Accordingly, this study designed a program for third-grade elementary school students to provide SW convergence education using robots in connection with various subject classes. It is expected that the use of convergence education programs that create robots using SW in connection with subject learning contents and use the robots again in class will have a positive impact on students' learning motivation, self-directed learning attitude, and creative problem-solving skills.

2020 교육과정의 비전으로 교육부는 ‘지능정보사회의 소양을 갖추고 세계를 선도하는 인재양성’을 제시하였다. 이러한 시대에 다양한 영역의 지식과 정보를 융합하여 처리하고 활용하는 융합 교육의 중요성을 인식하고 학교 에 요구하고 있으며, SW교육 확대를 위해 교육의 대상 역시 날로 낮아지고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 융합교육을 위해 구체적 조작활동을 가능하게 하는 로봇은 구체적 조작기인 초등학교 중학년, 즉 3, 4학년의 발달단계에 적 합한 학습도구로 여겨진다. 이에 본 연구는 초등학교 3학년 학생을 대상으로 다양한 교과 수업상황과 연결 지어 로봇을 활용한 SW융합교육이 이루어 질 수 있는 프로그램을 설계하였다. 교과 학습 내용과 연결지어 SW를 활 용한 로봇을 제작하고 그 로봇을 다시 수업에 활용하는 융합교육 프로그램의 활용이 학생들의 학습 동기 및 자 기 주도적 학습태도, 창의적 문제해결력에 긍정적 영향을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
