To reinforce national responsibilities on education and childcare in cooperation with home, school, and society, the Neulbom School launched as an extra-curricular educational program that conceptually combined after-school and daycare programs. This study analyzed elementary school students’ satisfaction with Neulbom School programs. A total of 452 participants were engaged in the programs, which categories include culture·arts, physical training, climate·environment, creativity·science, and society·sentiment. The survey data were quantitatively analyzed using discriptive statistics, Spearman’s rank order correlation, Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney test. As a result, satisfaction scores per item generally showed that the elementary learners responded positively to the Neulbom School programs. The results of non-parametric statistics indicated that the satisfaction scores regarding learning acquisition, peer relationship, and total sum significantly differed by gender while program fields and school regions were not influential factors.

늘봄학교는 기존의 방과후학교 및 초등돌봄교실을 아우르는 개념으로, 가정·학교·지역사회의 협력을 통해 교육과 돌봄의 국가책임을 강화하고자 정규수업 외에 학생의 성장 및 발달을 위해 제공되는 교육 프로그램이다. 이 논문에서 는 늘봄학교에 대한 초등학생의 참여 만족도 조사결과를 분석하였다. 문화·예술, 체육, 기후·환경, 창의·과학, 사회·정 서의 분야의 늘봄학교 프로그램에 참여한 초등학생 452명의 설문조사 결과를 기술통계, 스피어맨 순위 상관분석, 크루 스칼-윌리스 검정 및 맨-휘트니 검정으로 분석하였다. 늘봄학교 교육 프로그램에 참여한 초등학생의 만족도 수준을 문항별로 살펴본 결과, 전반적으로 늘봄학교 프로그램이 재미있었다는 긍정적인 평가를 하였다. 늘봄학교에 참여한 초 등학생의 만족도 점수에 프로그램 분야, 학교 지역, 성별 요인이 영향을 미치는지 비모수 통계 분석을 통해 알아 보았 더니, 프로그램 분야 및 학교 지역에 의한 늘봄학교 참여 만족도 점수의 유의한 차이는 없었으나 성별 집단 간에는 늘봄학교에서 새롭게 배움, 늘봄학교에서의 교우 관계 및 전체 만족도 점수 측면에서 유의한 차이가 있었다.
