This study aimed to examine the effects of simulation-based education on communication competence, problem-solving ability, transfer motivation, and learning transfer among nursing students. A one-group pretest-posttest design was applied to 89 fourth-year nursing students at a university located in J city. A simulation-based education program was implemented over 15 weeks, and pre- and post-intervention surveys were conducted. The results showed significant improvements in communication competence(t=3.91, p<.001), problem-solving abilities (t= 3.89, p<.001), transfer motivation (t=2.49, p=.015) and learning transfer(t=16.01, p<.001). These findings suggest that simulation-based education is an effective educational strategy to enhance core competencies and facilitate the transfer of learning into clinical practice among nursing students. Future research should address the limitations of the one-group design and explore the long-term effects of learning transfer and its potential linkage to clinical outcomes.

본 연구는 시뮬레이션 기반 교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통 능력, 문제해결 능력, 전이 동기, 학습 전이에 미치는 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. J시 소재 간호대학 4학년 89명을 대상으로 단일군 사전-사후 설계를 적용하였 으며, 15주간 시뮬레이션 기반 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 사전-사후 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 의사소통 능력(t=3.91, p<.001), 문제해결 능력(t=3.89, p<.001), 전이 동기(t=2.49, p=.015), 학습 전이(t=16.01, p<.001)가 모두 유의하게 향상되었다. 이는 시뮬레이션 기반 교육이 간호대학생의 핵심 역량과 실무 전이를 효과적으로 지원 하는 교육 전략임을 시사한다. 향후 연구에서는 단일군 설계의 한계를 보완하고 학습 전이의 지속 효과 및 임상성 과와의 연계 가능성을 탐색할 필요가 있다.
