The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of latent profile types of trust in intelligent information society, analyze the differences in perceptions of acceptance of intelligent information society by latent profile types, and present theoretical and policy implications. A survey was conducted on 531 adults aged 19 or order residing in the metropolitan area and data were analyzed. First, four trust types in intelligent information society were identified through latent profile analysis: ‘distrust in intelligent information society’ (6.6%), ‘distrust in intelligent information technology’ (42.8%), ‘distrust in government agencies of intelligent information society ’ (36.7%), and ‘trust in intelligent information society’ (13.9%). Second, as a result of analyzing the differences in acceptance of intelligent information society based on the latent profile types of trust, the perception of acceptance was higher among those in the ‘distrust in government agencies of intelligent information society,’ ‘distrust in intelligent information technology,’ and ‘trust in intelligent information society’ groups compared to the ‘distrust in intelligent information society’ group. Based on these findings, this study presents theoretical and policy implications for enhancing public trust in intelligent information society. Based on the analysis results, this study offers theoretical implications, including the expansion of discussions on trust in the intelligent information society, and policy implications, such as establishing institutional frameworks to ensure technological safety alongside technological rationality, and enhancing public trust in the government.

본 논문의 목적은 지능정보사회 신뢰 잠재프로파일 유형화 및 특성을 이해하고 잠재프로파일별 지능정보 사회 수용성 인식 차이를 분석함으로써 이론적, 정책적 함의를 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 수도권에 거주 중인 만 19세 이상 성인 531명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 자료를 분석하였다. 첫째, 잠재프로파일 분석을 통한 지능정보사회 신뢰 집단은 ‘지능정보사회 불신형’(6.6%), ‘지능정보기술 불신형’(42.8%), ‘지능정보사회 정부기관 불 신형’(36.7%), ‘지능정보사회 신뢰형’(13.9%) 등 4개로 유형화되었다. 둘째, 지능정보사회 신뢰 잠재프로파일 유형 에 따른 지능정보사회 수용성의 차이를 분석한 결과, ‘지능정보사회 불신형’보다는 ‘지능정보사회 정부기관 불신형’, ‘지능정보기술 불신형’, ‘지능정보사회 신뢰형’에 포함된 국민의 지능정보사회 수용성에 관한 인식이 높게 나타났다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 이론적 시사점으로 지능정보사회 신뢰 논의 확장, 정책적 시사점으로 기술적 합리성에 더불어 기술의 안전성을 확보하기 위한 제도 구축, 정부 신뢰 확보 등을 제시하였다.
