This study aims to analyze the current status of Chinese students majoring in sports and explore strategies for Korean universities to attract them. The findings indicate that while the demand for sports majors is increasing due to China’s emphasis on sports education and the growth of the sports industry, Korean universities face challenges such as a lack of tailored curricula, issues with degree and certification recognition, and insufficient employment support. To address these issues, this study suggests strengthening cooperation in sports education between Korea and China, developing customized curricula, expanding scholarships and employment support, enhancing the recognition of Korean universities, and conducting further research. This study is expected to contribute to improving the international competitiveness of Korean universities and promoting cooperation in sports education between Korea and China.

본 연구는 중국인 체육 전공 유학생 현황을 분석하고, 한국 대학의 유치 전략을 모색하는 것을 목표로 한다. 연구 결과, 중국의 체육 교육 강화와 스포츠 산업 성장으로 체육 전공자 수요가 증가하고 있으나, 한국 대학은 맞춤형 교육과정 부족, 학위·자격증 인정 문제, 취업 연계 미비 등의 한계를 보이고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 한·중 체육 교육 협력 강화 맞춤형 커리큘럼 개발, 장학금 및 취업 지원 확대, 한국 대학의 인지도 제고, 후속 연구 필요성을 제안한다. 본 연구는 한국 대학의 국제 경쟁력 강화 및 한·중 체육 교육 협력 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
