- This study examined to investigate the sequential mediating effects of self-esteem and hopeful thinking in the relationship between perceived social support and post-adversity growth among college students who experienced academic and social maladjustment. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 156 college students attending OO University located in S-si, Gyeonggi-do, and a total of 141 copies were used in the final analysis. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between social support, post-traumatic growth, self-esteem, and hopeful thinking. Second, social support, self-esteem, and agency thinking of hopeful thinking perceived by college students were found to have a positive effect on post-traumatic growth. Third, self-esteem and agency thinking of hopeful thinking were found to play a serial mediating role in the relationship between college students' social support and post-traumatic growth. These research results suggest that measures to increase the social support, self-esteem, and hopeful thinking perceived by college students are needed to help them post-traumatic growth. Finally, based on the results of this study, the significance and implications of this study and the need for follow-up research were discussed. post-traumatic growth.

- 본 연구는 학업과 사회적 부적응을 경험한 대학생이 지각한 사회적지지와 역경후 성장의 관계에서 자아 존중감과 희망적 사고의 순차매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 S시에 위치한 OO대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 156명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 총 141부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같 다. 첫째, 사회적지지, 역경후 성장, 자아존중감, 희망적 사고 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘 째, 대학생이 지각한 사회적지지와 자아존중감 및 희망적 사고의 주도사고는 역경후 성장에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 사회적지지와 역경후 성장의 관계에서 자아존중감과 희망적 사고의 주도사고는 순차매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 대학생의 역경후 성장을 위해서는 대학생이 지각 하는 사회적지지와 자아존중감 및 희망적 사고를 높이는 방안이 필요함을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 바 탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 시사점 및 추후연구의 필요성을 논의하였다.
