This study analyzed research trends on the physiological activities and functional effects of ginseng by reviewing 108 papers published from 2018 to June 2024, including 39 cell-based studies, 63 animal studies, and 6 clinical trials. The research topics covered the functional effects of ginseng on various conditions, such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging effects, with a focus on elucidating mechanisms through different experimental approaches. The findings aim to provide foundational data for the development of various products, including dietary supplements, functional foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, thereby contributing to improved health and quality of life.

INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
