- Enneagram describes human temperament and personality types. The nine personality types of Enneagram are interconnected. Enneagram's purpose is to find virtue and utilize it as a growth tool for mental change. This study aims to help explore and reflect on other types by exploring and self-reflecting on Type 1. In this paper, I conducted a study to explore the personality and body image of Type 1, and the defensive mechanisms associated with holy idea and fixation, passion, and virtue. Also, according to the internal flow of the Enneagram type, growth and degeneration, three instincts, wings and levels of development. If you continue to self-reflect on your defense mechanisms and passions, the Enneagram can be a tool for mental change that promotes personal growth.
