This study aims to design a manual standing assistance device to prevent falls that may occur when the elderly sit down or stand up in a wheelchair. The size of the assistance device, the space allowed for installation, and the optimal movement path of the wheelchair seat were determined by considering national standards for manual wheelchairs, installation compatibility with conventional wheelchairs, and ease of use. In addition, the height and angle of the wheelchair seat were sequentially adjusted to endure safe and effective standing, and the appropriate complex linkage shape and dimensions that can be implemented as a single motion were determined using Linkage and Recurdyn programs. Through FEA analysis using NASTRAN, it is verified the stretched linkage mechanism can support the user weight during operation. It was also confirmed that the proposed standing assistant device performs the desired lifting motion through actual production.

본 연구는 노인들이 휠체어를 이용하면서 앉거나 일어서는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 낙상을 예방하기 위한 수 동 기립 보조 장치 설계를 목적으로 한다. 설계에 앞서 수동 휠체어 국가표준 규격, 기존 휠체어와의 설치 호환성, 사 용 편의성 등을 고려하여 기립 보조 장치의 크기와 설치 범위 및 최적의 좌석 이동 경로를 설정하였다. 또한, 안전하 고 효과적인 사용자 기립을 위해 휠체어 좌석 상승 및 각도 변경을 순차적으로 이루어지도록 하였으며 Linkage와 Recurdyn 프로그램을 이용하여 한 번의 동작으로 구현 가능한 적절한 복합 링크기구 형상과 치수를 결정하였다. NASTRAN FEA 해석을 통해 설계된 링크기구가 기립 시 사용자의 하중을 지지할 수 있는 안정성을 검증하였으며, 복합 링크기구를 이용한 기립 보조 장치의 정상 작동을 실제 제작을 통해 확인하였다.
