This study examines the impact of experiences of school violence victimization on academic stress in adolescents and verifies the mediating effect of depression in this relationship. The Survey was conducted among students from elementary, middle, and high schools located in City N. Key findings reveal that higher experiences of school violence victimization are associated with increased academic stress. Additionally, self-esteem was found to have a moderating effect on the relationship between school violence victimization and academic stress. Based on these findings, the study proposes social strategies to prevent school violence and manage academic stress among adolescents. First, developing and implementing various stress management programs is essential. Second, diverse support systems to enhance mental health are needed. Third, preventive programs are essential to instill a sense of social responsibility in offending youth.

본 연구에서는 청소년의 학교폭력피해경험이 학업스트레스에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고, 이 관계에 영향을 미 치는 우울의 매개효과를 검증해보았다. 본 조사 연구는 N시에 소재한 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 실시하였다. 주요연구결과, 청소년의 학교폭력피해경험이 높을수록 학업스트레스가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 청소년의 학교폭력 피해경험과 학업스트레스의 관계에서 자아존중감은 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 학교폭력을 예방하고 학업스트레스를 조절할 수 있는 사회복지적 개입과 실천전략을 제시하였다. 첫째, 다양한 스트레스 개선 프로그램 개발과 운영이 필요하다. 둘째, 정신건강 증진을 위한 다양한 지원 체계가 필요하다. 셋째, 가해청소년이 사회적 책임감을 느낄 수 있도록 예방 프로그램이 필요하다.
