The purpose of this study was to confirm the relationship between self-control, SNS (Social Network Service) addiction, life stress and suicidal ideation among university students, and to identify the factors that affect suicidal ideation in this population. The participants of the study were 162, and data were collected using a structured questionnaire from June 28 to September 13, 2024. Data analysis was performed using SPSS program. As a result of the study, the factors affecting the participants' suicidal ideation were smoking status (β =.14, p=.023) and life stress (β=.67, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 44.9%. Based on the results of this study, to reduce suicidal ideation among university students, it is necessary to expand health promotion programs and various counseling networks to improve smoking and reduce life stress.

본 연구는 대학생들의 자기통제력, SNS (Social Network Service) 중독, 생활스트레스 및 자살생각과의 관련 성을 확인하고, 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위함이다. 연구 대상자는 대학생 162명으로 2024년 6월 28일 부터 9월 13일까지 구조화된 설문지로 자료수집을 시행하였으며, 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연 구결과 대상자의 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 요인은 흡연상태(β=.14, p=.023), 생활스트레스(β=.67, p<.001)로 나타났 으며, 설명력은 44.9%였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 자살생각을 낮추기 위해서는 흡연의 개선 및 생활스트레 스 감소를 위한 건강증진 개선 프로그램 및 다양한 상담 네트워크 확대가 필요하다.
