Physical security is essential to improving an organization’s overall security posture in the complicated security environment of today. Nonetheless, the need for experts in the field of domestic physical security greatly exceeds the supply of workers. Furthermore, compared to other security domains, physical security research is still comparatively underdeveloped. By examining the job duties of physical security professionals using keyword frequency analysis and LDA topic modeling of industry job postings, this study seeks to close this gap. The analysis showed that the main job duties in the field of physical security are development and project management related to video security, physical security system maintenance and management, physical security vulnerability analysis and infrastructure operation checks, and physical security consulting and solution proposals. This study is significant in that it provides a basis for analyzing the competencies required for each physical security job and improving physical security education programs by presenting the job duties of physical security professionals based on the results of text mining analysis.

현대의 복잡한 보안 환경에서 물리보안은 조직의 전반적인 보안 수준을 강화하는 데 핵심적이지만, 국내 물리보안 업계 전문인력의 수는 시장 수요와 비교해 현저히 부족하다. 또한, 다른 보안 분야와 비교해 물리보안 분야의 연구는 상대적으로 미흡한 상황이기에 이 연구는 물리보안 분야 채용 공고 데이터를 대상으로 키워드 빈도 분석과 LDA 토픽 모델링을 수행하여 물리보안 전문인력의 요구 직무에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 물리보 안 분야에서의 핵심 요구 직무로 영상보안 관련 개발 및 프로젝트 관리, 물리보안 시스템 의 유지보수 및 관리, 물리보안 취약점 분석 및 인프라 운영 점검, 물리보안 컨설팅 및 솔루션 제시가 도출되었다. 이 연구는 물리보안 전문인력 직무를 텍스트 마이닝 분석 결과 에 기반하여 제시함으로써 물리보안 직무별 요구역량에 대한 분석 및 물리보안 교육 프로 그램의 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
