This study conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the effectiveness of communication ability, critical thinking disposition, problem solving ability, and self directed learning ability in action learning for domestic nursing students. The research method was to calculate the effect size by applying the random effect model to 17 studies. The results of the study were communication ability (Hedges’ g =.63), self directed learning ability (Hedges’ g=.63), problem solving ability (Hedges’ g=.61), and critical thinking disposition (Hedges’ g=.48). It was statistically significant with a medium effect size. These results confirmed that action learning improves communication ability, critical thinking disposition, problem solving ability, and self directed learning ability, so it is necessary to use action learning systematically and actively.

본 연구는 국내 간호대학생 액션러닝에 대한 의사소통 능력, 비판적 사고능력, 문제해결 능력, 자기주도 학습의 효과 성을 파악하기 위해 체계적 고찰과 메타분석하였다. 연구방법은 연구물 17편을 무선효과모델 적용하여 효과크기를 산출하였 다. 연구결과는 의사소통능력(Hedges’ g=.63), 자기주도학습능력(Hedges’ g=.63), 문제해결능력(Hedges’ g=.61), 비판적 사고능력(Hedges’ g =.48) 순으로 중간 효과크기로 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이러한 결과에 의해 액션러닝은 의사소통능력, 비판적 사고능력, 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습능력을 향상시키는 것으로 확인되어 액션러닝을 체계적이며 적극적으로 활용 할 필요가 있다.
