In the cosmetics market, fragrance serves as a crucial emotional appeal, and body oils, which are applied to the entire body, are gaining attention as beauty products that can enhance fragrance effects. Traditionally, body oils have featured single-note scents however, perfume body oils with top, middle, and base notes, similar to those in perfumes, have been introduced and have garnered significant consumer interest. This study aimed to analyze the effects of these complex fragrances on human physiological responses through changes in brain wave activity. For this purpose, EEG signals were collected from 35 adults in their 20s using a dry EEG device while they inhaled the scent of citrus-based perfume body oils. The study was conducted between November 1 and November 28, 2023. So collected EEG signals were analyzed based on stress indicators to assess the relaxing effects of perfume body oil scent on stress relief. This study is significant as it explores beauty cosmetics from a human physiological perspective, and it is expected to serve as a foundation for future research on cosmetic fragrances that can elicit positive physiological responses in the human body.

화장품 시장에서 향기는 중요한 감성적 소구 요소로 자리 잡고 있으며, 특히 인체 전신에 사용하는 바디 오일은 향을 극대화할 수 있는 뷰티 화장품으로 주목받고 있다. 바디오일의 향기는 전통적으로 단일 향으로 구성 되는 경우가 많았으나, 최근에는 향수처럼 탑, 미들, 베이스 노트가 조합된 퍼퓸바디오일이 출시되면서 소비자들에 게 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 퍼퓸바디오일의 향이 인체 생리적 반응에 미치는 영향을 뇌파 변 화를 통해 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 20대 성인 35명을 대상으로 시트러스 계열 퍼퓸바디오일의 향을 흡입하는 동안의 뇌파 신호를 건식 뇌파 기기를 통해 수집하였다. 연구의 기간은 2023년 11월 1일에서 11월 28일에 실시되 었고 수집된 뇌파 신호를 스트레스 지표를 중심으로 분석하여 퍼퓸바디오일 향이 스트레스 완화에 미치는 이완 효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 인체 생리적 관점에서의 뷰티 화장품 연구를 시도한 것에 의의가 있으며, 향후 인 체에 긍정적 생리 반응을 유도할 수 있는 화장품 향 연구의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
