This study was conducted to confirm the relationship between the characteristics of researchers in the field of sc ience and technology (project orientation, technology commercialization orientation, research autonomy) and their will ingness to comply with security policies. The analysis results showed that all of the characteristics of researchers p resented in this study had a positive effect on their willingness to comply with security policies. In addition, the mo derating effect of research autonomy on technology commercialization orientation was confirmed to have a significan t negative relationship. These results are significant in that they confirm that the characteristics of researchers need to be considered when establishing research security policies, and in particular, that research security policies should be applied not only to general research and development tasks but also to the transfer and commercialization of rese arch and development results.

본 연구에서는 과학기술분야에서 연구개발 활동을 수행하고 있는 연구인력들을 대상으로 연구인력의 특성(프로젝트 지향성, 기술사업화지향성 및 연구자율성)과 보안정책 준수의지간의 관계를 규명해 보고, 이를 통해 향후 연구인력의 특성을 고려한 연구보안 정책 설계·집행·평가 등에 따른 학문적 의의와 정책적 시사점 등을 논의해 보고자 수행되었다. 분석 결과, 본 연구에서 제시한 연구인력의 특성 모두 보안정책 준수의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었으 며, 특히 기술사업화지향성에 대한 연구자율성의 조절효과는 유의적인 부(-)의 관계가 있음을 확인해 볼 수 있었다. 이 러한 결과는 연구보안 정책 수립에 있어 연구인력의 특성을 고려할 필요가 있으며, 특히 일반 연구개발 과제 뿐만 아니 라, 연구개발 성과의 이전 및 사업화 과정에서도 적절한 연구보안 정책이 마련될 필요가 있다는 점을 확인했다는 점에 서 그 의미가 크다.
