The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of the social parental role and attitude of prospective parents recognized by adolescents on childbirth plans and child rearing, and the mediating effect of parental role confidence. Based on the data collected from 614 male and female high school students in D Metropolitan City who cooperated in advance, the study results were derived through Baron & Kenny's three-step regression analysis. First, it was found that the social parental role and attitude as prospective parents perceived by adolescents had a positive (+) effect on birth plans and child rearing. Second, it was found that the social parental role and attitude as prospective parents perceived by adolescents had a positive (+) effect on parental role confidence. Third, it was found that the social parental role and attitude as prospective parents perceived by adolescents had a positive (+) effect on childbirth plans and child rearing by mediating parental role confidence as a positive (+) effect. Based on these research results, it is hoped that it will be provided as basic data for the development of policies and programs related to low birth rates.

본 연구는 청소년이 인식하는 예비부모로서의 사회적 부모역할과 태도가 출산계획 및 자녀양육에 미치는 영향과 부 모역할 자신감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 사전 협조 된 D광역시 남·녀 고등학생 614명을 대상으로 수집 된 자료를 바탕으로 Baron & Kenny의 3단계 회귀분석으로 분석하여 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 청소년이 인식하는 예 비부모로서의 사회적 부모역할과 태도는 출산계획 및 자녀양육에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년이 인 식하는 예비부모로서의 사회적 부모역할과 태도는 부모역할 자신감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년 이 인식하는 예비부모로서의 사회적 부모역할과 태도는 부모역할 자신감을 정(+)의 영향으로 매개하여 출산계획 및 자녀양육 에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 저출산 관련 정책 및 프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 제 공되기를 바라는 바이다.
