The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of social stigma on self-control and aggression in out-of-school youth. To achieve the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted on 250 out-of-school youth aged 9 to 24 who use out-of-school youth support centers in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk. Data were analyzed using the SPSS statistics 29.0 program. The results of the study are as follows. It was confirmed that the effect of social stigma on aggression was partially mediated by self-control. As social stigma increases, self-control decreases, and the decreased self-control increases aggression again, which in turn affects aggression. Based on these research results, the aim is to provide empirical data to reduce social stigma in out-of-school youth and strengthen self-control to reduce aggression.

본 논문은 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감이 자기통제력과 공격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 대전, 세종 충남, 충북지역의 학교밖청소년지원센터를 이용하는 9세～24세 남.여 학 교 밖 청소년 250명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS statistics 29.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 사회적 낙인감이 공격성에 미치는 영향은 부분적으로 자기통제력에 의해 매개됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 사회적낙인감이 높아질수록 자기통제력이 낮아지고, 낮아진 자기통제력이 다시 공격성을 증가시키 는 경로를 통해 사회적낙인감이 공격성에 영향을 미친다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인 감을 줄이고, 자기통제력을 강화하여 공격성을 줄이는 실증적 자료 제공을 하고자 한다.
