- This study structurally analyzed the convergence phenomenon of FoodTech, formed through the interaction between traditional food and advanced technology, using the value chain. The purpose of the research was to structure the specific major areas of universities based on the convergence characteristics of FoodTech and to derive the required specialized capabilities for each major. To achieve this, literature review, industry classification tables, and national occupational standards were utilized to identify the industry-technology convergence within FoodTech, and focus group interviews were conducted with 14 FoodTech practitioners. The results revealed that the convergence of industry and technology in FoodTech is subdivided into a 13-stage value chain, where specific technological tools and methodologies are applied in each area of convergence. The FoodTech value chain has formed a total of 20 specific major fields through the convergent action of core technologies. The required specialized capabilities for each major ranged from basic scientific knowledge to advanced technology application skills. Future research should explore the applicability of various technologies and convergences to expand the universality and scope of the research findings.

- 본 연구는 전통적인 식품과 첨단기술의 상호작용을 통해 형성되는 푸드테크의 융복합 현상을 밸류체인을 통해 구조적으로 분석하였다. 이 과정을 통해 푸드테크의 융복합 특성을 기반으로 대학의 세부전공분야를 구성하 고, 각 세부전공별로 필요한 교과특수역량을 도출하는 게 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 문헌조사, 산업세세분류표, 국가직무능력표준 등을 활용해 푸드테크의 산업기술 융복합을 식별하고, 14명의 푸드테크 종사자를 대상으로 포커 스그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 푸드테크의 산업기술 융복합은 13단계의 밸류체인으로 세분화되어 각 융 복합 영역별로 구체적인 기술적 도구와 방법론이 적용되었다. 푸드테크의 밸류체인은 핵심기술이 융복합적으로 작 용하여 총 20가지의 세부전공분야를 형성하였다. 각 세부전공별로 요구되는 교과특수역량은 기초과학 지식에서부 터 첨단기술 활용능력에 이르기까지 광범위한 것으로 나타났다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 기술과 융복합의 적용 가 능성을 탐색함으로써, 연구 결과의 보편성과 적용 범위를 확장할 필요가 있다.

- Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
